$ROBBINS is a normal ERC-20 and a normal ERC-721 sharing one balance. Your token balance is the truth. The birds are a view of it. Every whole token you hold is backed by one bird in your wallet. Fractions don't get a bird.
We use DN404, the cleaned-up standard by Vectorized. The token contract does ERC-20, a mirror contract does ERC-721, so wallets and marketplaces each see something fully standard.
Buy 3.4 tokens: 3 birds mint, 0.4 sits as a fraction. Buy 0.6 more: a fourth bird. Sell 1.5: two birds burn. Buy back to 3: a new bird hatches with a fresh id and fresh traits.
Send whole tokens to a friend and the birds move with them, ids intact. Trade and you reroll. Hold and you keep.
No IPFS. No server. The renderer contract stores all 53 pixel layers and the 10,000-row trait table, and draws each bird as an SVG the moment a wallet asks. If Robinhood Chain exists, the birds exist.
The pool never mints birds. Contracts skip NFTs by default, so only wallets hatch them.
The pool pairs $ROBBINS with SPY, Robinhood's tokenised S&P 500 ETF. Buyers pay SPY, sellers get SPY back. Bird price is quoted in an index fund, not in a coin.
